Thanks for playing Wordna: Word Tile Puzzle! If you have a question, a bug to report, a word you think is missing (or one that should not be there), we would love to hear from you. Most emails are answered within a few business days.
When reporting a problem, it helps to include:
The hidden words are shown as empty boxes at the top of the screen. Slide your finger over neighbouring letter tiles — up, down, left or right — to spell one of them, then lift your finger. A word can turn corners and can be traced backwards. Find every word to finish the level. The first levels walk you through it.
It tells you how many words still use that letter. Each time you find a word, the number goes down; a tile that is no longer needed disappears. It is your best clue to which letters belong together.
No. There are no lives and no timer. A wrong swipe costs nothing: try as many words as you like.
Any valid word you trace that is not one of the hidden words is a bonus word. It goes into the trunk at the top right: every 50 bonus words earn you a free light bulb.
The light bulb (from level 5) reveals one letter of a hidden word. The rocket (from level 7) reveals five letters at once, spread over several words. You win more of them with chapter gifts, bonus words and the leaderboard.
The bar on the victory screen fills as you finish the levels of a chapter. When the chapter is complete, its gift opens with a light bulb or a rocket inside, and a new landscape begins.
1,500 levels in each language, grouped into chapters, each with its own landscape.
From level 20, every level you finish earns letters that place you in a daily leaderboard. Finish in the top three and you win boosters and a badge for your collection (the trophy icon on the main screen).
Open Settings (the gear icon) and tap Language. Wordna is available in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Polish and Indonesian; the words change with the language. Your level, boosters and leaderboard are kept. The level in progress starts again in the new language.
Each one has a switch in Settings, behind the gear icon.
No for the puzzles: every level runs on your device. The leaderboard is shown only while your phone is online — the game merely checks that a connection exists; it sends nothing.
Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored: your progress, your collection and your settings. Nothing is kept on our side — see the Privacy Policy.
Wordna’s word lists are built from open resources: word frequencies from FrequencyWords by Hermit Dave (OpenSubtitles 2018, CC BY-SA 4.0); the Lexique 3 French lexical database (CC BY-SA 4.0); the ENABLE English word list (public domain); and the LibreOffice Hunspell dictionaries (each under its own open licence). We filtered them for everyday, family-friendly words; if you spot one that should not be there, please tell us.
