Thanks for playing Rotate Ring Challenge! If you have a question, a bug to report or a suggestion, we would love to hear from you. Most emails are answered within a few business days.
When reporting a problem, it helps to include:
Every level is a tangle of rings and bars that hold one another. Turn a ring with your finger until its gap faces the piece that holds it: the ring slips free and leaves the board. Push a bar along its own line to slide it out. Free every piece to finish the level. Level 1 walks you through the first move.
A piece only moves until it touches another one, so the order matters: sometimes you have to turn or slide a piece out of the way first, without freeing it, to make room for the next one.
No. There are no lives, no timer and no move limit. A turn or a slide can always be taken back, and a piece that leaves only makes room for the others: a level can never become impossible. Take your time.
No. Every level is checked by a solver before it ships: it can always be finished by logic. If you are stuck, look for the piece that nothing blocks any more, or for the one whose small move would unlock a neighbour.
A bomb sits inside a closed ring, which could never slip free on its own. The bomb goes off as soon as another piece touches it, and its ring leaves with it.
Some rings carry a banana. Free the ring and the banana is yours. Bananas count in the Banana Challenge (see below).
The hammer (from level 3) breaks the piece you tap — whatever it was holding falls too. The vacuum (from level 8) sucks up every piece of the color you tap. You start with a few of each and win more in gifts and in the tournament — and when one runs out, a short optional video gives you another. No level needs them: they are there for the day you want a little help.
The bar on the victory screen fills by one step for every level you finish. When it is full, a gift opens with a tool inside. The first gifts arrive after levels 6, 12, 20 and 28.
At levels 10, 20 and 30, then every 20 levels, the rings and bars draw a picture — an owl, a light bulb, a robot, a snowman… They are a little break, solved the same way.
From level 10, every level you finish scores one banana, plus the ones you collected on the way. Those points place you in a leaderboard that starts again every day. Finish in the top three and you win tools and a badge for your collection.
Each one has a switch in Settings, behind the gear icon.

No for the puzzles: every level runs on your device. The tournament leaderboard is shown while your phone is online.
